I bought an old house back in Sept 09 and have been learning so much about house renovations ever since. Everyday comes with new challenges and issues. Once of our latest escapades has involved a plumbing leak that resulted in the removal of the ceiling in our laundry room/hallway on the main floor. Currently we are waiting for new drywall to be installed and it's been about a week. I think the best way to handle situations like this is to be calm and enjoy the unexpected. You can't let things like this stress you out, because you probably already have too much on your plate already.
Also, my New Year's Resolution for 2010 was to provide more feedback on the internet, which I have been trying to do. I feel that if I am always reading other people's reviews before I buy anything, I should contribute and return the favour. It's kind of like downloading, nobody likes leachers. But not everything gives you the option to leave feedback, so I see this blog as a way to help other people out.
